East Beach Urgent Care is seeking a certified X-Ray Technologist for our urgent care setting. Applicants must have a positive and friendly attitude, professional behavior, be a team player, and hold a valid ARRT certification and active Virginia State Radiology license.

Responsibilities include:

greeting patients and bringing them to an exam room to obtain and record their vitals, past medical history, etc.,

preparing/accurately positioning patients for imaging while applying up to date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices,

operating imaging equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic purposes for common urgent care complaints and entering data into an electronic medical record,

drawing blood as needed--understanding how to appropriately collect/handle specimens,

and other MA skills such as administering injections/vaccinations or oral medications, collecting flu/covid/strep swabs, performing drug screenings, etc.

We are willing to train the right candidate if you do not yet have these skills!

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
